Privacy Statement
'BACBI - Belgian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel' ─ under its new name: 'Belgian Academics and Artists for Palestine (BAA4P)' ─ is a de facto association. In compliance with Europe’s new privacy law: the "General Data Protection Regulation" (GDPR) of May 25 2018, the present updated Privacy Statement is meant to clarify what information is collected from its endorsers, the interested public and visitors of its website, bacbi.be.
Bacbi.be is an independent website, without external financial sponsors; it calls neither for financial contributions nor for donations. The website does not collect any information - e.g. the email addresses - of its users and it does not place cookies. It does not use a third-party service to store its users' email addresses and/or send emails. It
Endorsers of the BACBI call do not pay a membership fee. On behalf of their identification they provided the following information: first name, surname, title or artistic status, academic or artistic affiliation. For the sake of internal communication - by means of electronic newsletters, bulletins and messages - lists of email addresses are used. These lists of addresses are not made public. No other personal data are collected. There is no possibility of direct registration.
Without feedback from the individuals concerned, we will consider that they agree with our data management policy. We remain at their disposal for any further information.

La 'BACBI - Campagne belge pour le boycott académique et culturel d'Israël' - nouveau nom: 'Académiques et artistes belges pour la Palestine' - est une association de fait tout particulière sinon élémentaire. Conformément à la nouvelle législation européenne sur la vie privée - le "Règlement général sur la protection des données" (RGPD) -, la présente déclaration de confidentialité vise à clarifier quelles informations sont collectées sur les signataires de l'appel pour le boycott, du public intéressé et des visiteurs de son site Web, bacbi.be.
Bacbi.be est un site Web indépendant, sans sponsors financiers externes; il n'appelle pas à des contributions financières ou à des dons. Le site Web ne recueille pas d'informations sur ses visiteurs et ne place pas de cookies (l'abonnement à StatCounter.be, qui tient des statistiques sur les visiteurs, a été annulé).
Les signataires de l'appel BACBI ne paient pas de cotisation. Pour les identifier, il leur est demandé de fournir les informations suivantes : prénom, nom, fonction ou statut artistique, affiliation académique ou artistique. Pour la communication interne - au moyen de lettres d'information et de messages électroniques - une liste d'adresses e-mail est utilisée. Cette liste n'est pas rendue publique. Aucune autre donnée personnelle n'est collectée.
Les messages et bulletins de la BACBI ("académiques" et/ou "culturels") peuvent également être envoyés à des personnes intéressées qui n'ont pas signé l'appel au boycott. Afin de respecter leur vie privée, il leur est explicitement demandé s'ils souhaitent les recevoir. Leurs adresses électroniques ne seront pas rendues publiques ; des autres données personnelles ne sont pas collectées. Les newsletters prévoient toujours la possibilité de se désabonner ("unsubscribe"). Chacun(e) peut à tout moment se désabonner de la liste de contacts; il suffit d'envoyer un courriel à l'adresse info@bacbi.be.
Sans réaction de la part des personnes concernées, nous considérerons qu'elles sont d’accord avec notre politique de gestion des données. Nous restons à leur disposition pour tout complément d’information.

BACBI - Belgische Campagne voor de Academische en Culturele Boycot van Israël - nieuwe naam: 'Belgische academici en artisten voor Palestina' - is een feitelijke vereniging. In overeenstemming met de nieuwe Europese wetgeving inzake privacy: de "General Data Protection Regulation" (GDPR), ook genaamd de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG), van 25 mei 2018, beoogt deze geactualiseerde privacy verklaring te verduidelijken welke informatie verzameld wordt over ondertekenaars, het geïnteresseerde publiek en de bezoekers van de website, bacbi.be.
Bacbi.be is een onafhankelijke website, zonder externe financiële sponsors. Er wordt geen beroep gedaan op financiële bijdragen of schenkingen van derden. De website verzamelt geen informatie over zijn bezoekers en plaatst geen cookies (het abonnement bij StatCounter.be, dat statistieken bijhoudt, is opgezegd).
De ondertekenaars van de BACBI oproep betalen geen lidgeld. Met het oog op hun identificatie wordt hen de volgende informatie gevraagd: voornaam, naam, functie of artistieke status, academische instelling of eventuele artistieke affiliatie. Voor de interne communicatie - bij middel van elektronische nieuwsbrieven en boodschappen - wordt gebruik gemaakt van een lijst met emailadressen. Deze lijst wordt niet publiek gemaakt. Andere persoonlijke gegevens worden niet verzameld.
BACBI berichten en nieuwsbrieven ("academische" en "culturele") kunnen ter informatie ook toegezonden worden aan geïnteresseerde derden die de boycotoproep niet hebben ondertekend. Ten einde hun privacy te eerbiedigen wordt hen expliciet hun akkoord gevraagd. Hun elektronische adressen worden niet openbaar gemaakt; andere persoonlijke gegevens worden niet verzameld. De nieuwsbrieven voorzien altijd de mogelijkheid zich uit te schrijven ("unsubscribe"). Om geschrapt te worden uit de contactlijst volstaat een email naar info@bacbi.be. Zonder feedback van de betrokken personen, gaan we ervan uit dat zij het eens zijn met ons datamanagementbeleid. We blijven ter beschikking voor verdere informatie.
